Summary

In today's episode, I explore the power of non-binding agreements, using simple memorializations to build and maintain professional relationships without the stress of legal bindings. I share real-life examples, including my experience as CEO of Samsung's first phone division and a long-term mentorship that turned into a co-authored book. Learn how these agreements can save time, prevent resentment, and enhance business opportunities by allowing flexibility and changes over time. memorialization of how we can help each other, that time value and emotion will change and therefore you don't have to live up to it.

1:38.0

And I will, when I find out that someone has not done what the memorialization has said, you know,

1:48.3

remind them with the codified memorialized template that I have or email that I've saved and just say, hey, a reminder, I know I sent the Smiths over how that go.

2:00.0

I also included our memorialization of how we're going to help each other.

2:05.2

Do you have any other speaking engagements for me or whatever?

2:09.8

If they decide to change their mind and not live up to sending me a Starbucks card,

2:15.0

now there's no resentment or guilt or anything.

2:19.0

It's just a matter of deprioritizing or continue to prioritizing the memorialization.

2:25.0

Now, a lot of people don't feel comfortable with that.
