Sorry about that. I was distracted here with some notes, taking notes electronically and

also from my notepad here. I did a lot of research for this show. This is a very important

special broadcast of the Hagman Report. My cohort with me, of course, is Randy Taylor.

We're going to be talking about Ukraine, specifically this hour about Ukraine. What is going

on, why it matters, the little bit of history behind Ukraine, and why really the threat

of communism is greater from within the United States than from Russia. You have to understand

folks that Russia is a different country than was the Soviet Union. I think also people

have to understand that NATO is heavily involved in this, and George F. Keenan had written

extensively foreign policy experts written extensively about the burgeoning problem with NATO.

By expanding NATO, of course, how that would negatively impact the security of the United

States. There is a lot of history here in Ukraine. If you look at that, why would Vladimir

Putin or Russia want to invade the sovereign nation instead of Ukraine? Well, especially

because it is poor, and if you look at the GDP per capita, it is poor, but it is rich

in natural resources. As a matter of fact, Ukraine has 30% of the world's richest black

soil. Ukraine even exports agricultural products like corn, for example, to China. This

was laid out in the recent article that appeared in American thinker by oldest sproges,

the author. Now, Russia climate wise is too far north, even though it is rich in oil

and natural gas and other minerals, Russia will never become a self-acufficient bar player

on the world stage without Ukraine to feed it. Remember, the control is about food. The
