been on the receiving end of an apology, or maybe you've offered an apology, but it just did not

hit the mark? Have you ever been

hurt? The person apologizes, but you don't feel like the issue's resolved. And maybe they said to you,

hey, I said I was sorry. What's the deal? So what is the deal when it doesn't feel like the apology

resolves the offense? What are we missing? Might we be holding onto the offense, nursing a grudge?

Or could it be that that apology missed an important component that's necessary for healing? These are some of the things
