Summary
For this month's episode of the Arsenal Women Arsecast Tim is joined by The Athletic's Women's Football Correspondent Katie Whyatt. They chat a little about Katie's path to becoming one of the only full-time women's football correspondents in the country, then they get into some big ticket topics around inequality between teams in the WSL- is it avoidable? Does it matter? Is the WSL now on an untroubled path to becoming a mirror image of the Premier League? And what about some of the revered women's football clubs that haven't been able to keep pace with the WSL's march to professionalism? Could we even have a European Super League or transatlantic tournament in women's football one day? Tim and Katie discuss.
Katie wrote a piece on inequality in the WSL which you can read here – if you are a subscriber to The Athletic.
