Welcome back into another edition of The Arrowhead Pride reported is Monday, October 23rd, and the Kansas City Chiefs sit atop the

AFC at 6 and 1 after a week 731 to 17 win over the Los Angeles chargers.

Let me welcome in the leader of Arrowhead Pride, Pete Sweeney.

Sweenen, chiefs get it done against the chargers with what I think is an extremely

impressive second half showing by the can't see Chief's defense after some stumbles in the first half.

Chiefs totally clamped down on the chargers in the second half.

They wind up pulling away and they take down Justin Herbert and

company to improve to six and one on the season. Yeah it was really a tale of two halves I

thought you know there was a moment there, I think,

especially toward the end of the second quarter,

where the game almost seemed like that one game, Steve,

from a few years ago with the Los Angeles Rams.

It was within reach to have Patrick Mahomes,

maybe get to his total yardage ever,

which would have been the high 400.

It was within reach for Travis Kelsey,

but potentially have his best game ever that

would have bested that game for a few years ago in LA against the chargers.

And then everything just calmed down.

The defenses on both sides of the ball, chiefs and the chargers, they buckled down and it was a much more defensive

half on the other side.

And the chiefs, very quietly here I think, had a great defensive performance because yes the second
