I hope this podcast finds you well, as and before we get to our second story for the month of

May we have some excellent news to report. Two of our stories from Clark's World have made it as finalists in the Locust Poll and Survey.

The Things by Peter Watts, which should be a very familiar story to you. It's one of our most decorated stories here at

Clarksville magazine coming off multiple nominations for awards and years

best anthologies. Along with Catherine Valenti's 13 ways of looking at space time, we wish both of the author's luck come the award ceremony.

And speaking of awards, they've just opened up the Hugo voting for this year's 2011 Hugo

awards. So if you've got a ballot, if you're a supporting member, or you are attending

this year's Worldcon in Reno, Make sure you get your vote in.

Again, I've mentioned this numerous times in the past,

but in case you were just joining us,

the Hugo's are a fan-based award.

They need your help and support in order to get an accurate reflection

of the people are reading out there and listening to. So don't hesitate.

Get those ballots filled out.

Our second story of the month is The Architect of Heaven by Jason K Chapman.

For those of you who don't know Jason, he lives at the intersection of Geek and Art.

His two main interests come together in his job as the IT director for Poets and Writers, P.W.org, where he worked for 12 years.

His short fiction has appeared in Cosmos magazine, Grant Phil Gazette Universe, Annex, and others.

This is a second appearance in Clark's World magazine.
