Greetings Clark World Citizens. I hope this podcast finds you well.

Again, not a lot of news to report, so I'm just going to jump right into the story.

We have a lot of stories this month in January 2015,

and that's thanks to our subscribers and supporters.

The piece is titled The Apartment Dwellers Beastiary

and is by a Clarksville favorite of ours,

Kidge Johnson.

Kids Johnson is the author of several novels,

including the Fox Woman and Fudoki,

and a short story collection, at the mouth of the River of Bees.

She is a three-time winner of the Nebula Award and also has won the Hugo, World Fantasy,

Sturgeon, and Crawford Awards.

In the past she has worked in publishing, edited cryptic crosswords,

waitress in a strip bar, identified Napa Cabernets by winery and year while blindfolded

and climbed an occasional V5.

These days, she teaches at the University of Kansas

where she is Associate Director for the Center

for the Study of Science Fiction. This is her fourth Clark's world story, unless you count it as
