I am thrilled today to be joined by Charlie Sykes and to bring him to you on the warning podcast.

Charlie Sykes was best known as a Wisconsin talk radio host. He was a conservative. He was

somebody who identified with the Republican Party. But Charlie Sykes, as it turned out, was made up of some different

material than Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz and, well, everybody. He did not get in line. And there's

something to be said about the people who didn't get in line over this. It's important to appreciate what

makes them different. Today, Elon Musk and his digital little ikements are storming the halls

of the United States government. One has already resigned because of his post celebrating eugenics, celebrating racism,

hardcore stuff. One of them is a 19-year-old named Big Balls. Here's this picture. Charlie Sykes,

for 10 long years, has said this was coming. And Charlie Sykes was right.

So it's my great pleasure to bring you a good man, an honorable man, and an honest man.

A lot of you say, what can we do?

Well, you can look at Charlie Sykes and know the American character is a tough one and an honest one, and you can emulate it. And if enough of

you do it, country's going to be okay. Well, welcome everybody. Good evening. It's Steve Schmidt with the

We are living in a country in crisis. As you join, we get this conversation started, but we are protected by the shield of the First Amendment,

one of humanity's greatest ideas.

And when you think about the collapse of what we recognize

as the bulwarks against tyranny against a American fascism, whatever you wish to call it.

The news media, corporate news media is falling apart, collapsing.

But as that glass is thrown against the wall I ask everybody if you could to mute your phones we pick up your feedback on it makes it

makes it tough to talk.
