Monday morning it's January 19th and coming up on today's show we have Saturday night's

wild wolf spurs game to discuss where the wolves played without Rudy

Rubei, where they lost Nasreid due to injury five minutes into the game where they were down

by 25 points at halftime. And yet it was still a game where the wolves were very, very close to

winning against Wembe and the Spurs in San Antonio because Anthony Edwards had 26 points in the fourth

quarter of a game. He finished with a career high 55. I got Wolves Beatwriter, Jase Frederick,

here with me. Jace, I was thinking this morning about how we did the episode after the Wolves

played Oklahoma City the day before Thanksgiving.

And in that episode, we spent so much time talking about the things that Anthony Edwards

didn't do in that game against the Thunder at the end of the game, specifically, things

that played a big role in the wolves not winning that

game. And that those things happened. Um, aunt was struggling to navigate how to navigate the

Oklahoma City defense at the end of that game. But there was, it's funny that it, that was less than

two months ago. And there was just absolutely none of that

against san antonio on saturday night it was he was the reason they they were in that game

and as you wrote about it's it's because even you know in the two months that have kind of passed by

since then aunt now has counters for every coverage a team can throw at him he always would say

they're like oh i i've seen every single coverage i feel like we've gotten to this point where

it's not just aunt has seen every coverage or seen how every team is going to approach him

he now knows what to do and is actually doing those things.

And then beyond that, just hitting supernova levels at times at the end of these games, no more than no better example of that than the Spurs game on Saturday.
