Over Matthews Gospel chapter 4 verse 1, and Jesus was Jesus was led up of the spirit into the

wilderness to be tempted of the devil. And when he had fasted 40 days and 40 nights, he was after it and hungered.

Meaning that after he fasted 40 days, that was the end of that, now his hunger returned.

And when the tempter came, who was the tempter?

The devil came to him.

He said, if thou be the son of God, command these stones, be made bread.

he could turn a stone into some white bread, rye bread, wheat bread.
