Summary

The Rosicrucians are a community of philosophers who study Natural Laws in order to live in harmony with them. Their mission is to provide seekers with the spiritual wisdom necessary to experience their connectedness with the miraculous world around us and to develop Mastery of Life. According to Israel Regardie, prior to Neville speaking and teaching his unique philosophy he was a regular participant with a local Rosicrucian chapter in New York. So while we understand the law of assumption through the lens of Neville Goddard's stories and explanation, it's origins are from Rosicrucians who have shepherded a variety of mystical texts through many centuries with the goal of retaining the wisdom from past ages in every religion. Here I read a classic teaching from the Rosicrucians written many years before Neville ever discussed it. Here we begin to see the way the law works as you become an actor playing out the reality you wish to fulfill. For me the law of assumption was a huge evolution from the basic tenets of the law of attraction. 0:11.1	opportunity to read a very powerful writing from H. Spencer Lewis, who was the co-founder of the
0:18.6	Rosicrucian Order, and he wrote more than two dozen books and
0:22.7	booklets, as well as articles and magazines.
0:26.7	The Rosicrucians are super fascinating.
0:29.5	When I was in college, I became a part of their weekly program.
0:33.6	I got a booklet in the mail, and it would have the most unique and interesting little teachings about how to sit for meditation, how the breath moves in your body, how to position your hands.
0:46.2	And they would give rudimentary knowledge, basic knowledge about things like atoms and vibration.
0:53.2	But I found that their system of knowledge
0:56.5	is really impressive. They've done a tremendous job of keeping knowledge and sending it through
1:03.5	the centuries. So they have obtained and have access to some very old writings that they utilize
1:10.6	for some amazing revelations.
1:13.7	They purposely try to come out and reveal and release the information that they hold on to.
1:20.0	And through their program, they've maintained many wonderful writings and monographs.
1:24.9	And they have maintained a scientific level of research on
1:30.1	spiritual matters. But I was really interested to see that H. Spencer Lewis, who was really the
1:36.3	primary writer of their most popular and famous books in their origin, wrote about the law of
1:43.5	assumption. Now, this is important. Lewis was an amazing
1:47.1	writer. I've actually recorded some other episodes I've forgotten to release by Lewis.
1:53.7	But he was very well read and he authored the first monographs based on ancient manuscripts he had been allowed to
2:03.1	view during his initiation into the Rosicrucian tradition in France and through later inspirations
2:09.5	Lewis was Imperator of the Order from 1915 to 1939 and founded the Rosicrucian Park in San Jose
