I'm Amir Tzafati and welcome once again to our anchor podcast.

Remember, our faith, that hope is the anchor to our souls.

And we're trying to bring through these

podcasts, hope to people that live here in the world and in the land of Israel. And today we

have a very special guest. I've heard a lot about our friend that is here with us. But before

I'll turn to our guests, I'll just remind you that we are in connect not too far

from the place where Jesus grew up in the city of Nazareth.

And if you remember Nazareth, originally the name comes from the Hebrew verse in Isaiah chapter 11, verse 1.

And it'se hater from Geza Ishae and Nezzar from Shorah Vrenezzar is the root for Nazareth.

And of course, Isaiah 11 in English, there shall come forth a rod from the stem of Jesse and a branch shall grow

out of his roots. And it's not just a branch. It's a person because it says the spirit of the

Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might,

the spirit of knowledge, end of the fear of the Lord. And it's the same branch

that Jeremiah wrote in chapter 33, verse 15, in those days. And at that time, I will cause to

grow up to David a branch of righteousness. And we all know who our righteousness is. And if that's not enough, Jesus himself

testified of himself as the one in Revelation 22. I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you.

These things in the churches, I am the root and the offspring of David,

the bright and morning star. And all of that, in the Old Testament, later on confirmed in the

new, was not enough for the band of disciples in the first century to appreciate where they are. And we know that in the first

century, Nazar it was a small Jewish village by a little spring, not too famous, not

too important. And this is exactly why Nathaniel reacted to Philip. When Philip told him in John 1, 45 to 46, Philip found Nathaniel reacted to Philip when Philip told him in John 1 45 to 46 Philip found Nathaniel and said to him,
