Let's jump right on into this thing.

And we've got an event this week that is pretty unique, especially now in the current

state of the PGA tour, where this is now the full, like, super max level field, 156 golfers,

spread out over three different courses in Palm Springs.

PGA West, the stadium course, which you might also see as Pete Dye Stadium course.

They kind of updated the name on that, I think, two years ago.

The Nicholas Tournament course, which is also at PGA West, and then Laquinta Country Club.

And what's going to happen is

everybody's going to play one round at each of those three golf courses. Then there's going to be a

54 hole cut, and then everybody's going to go back to the stadium course to play on Sunday. So really,

we don't really have much like this anymore. Pebble Beach used to be like this. Now that it's

like signature event status,

it's not really. There are, there are amateurs here. So this is a pro am. So you're also going to see

that. So the rounds will be a little bit longer. The pit positions are generally a lot easier.

And this is usually a, in the words of John Rahm,, bleeping putting contest, right? Because you get,

they call it dome golf. I mean, the Coachella Valley does not get a lot of wind, does not get a

lot of difficult conditions to play golf in, especially this time of year. And with pins in the

middle and all these guys just going out and taking dead aim, you see a lot of long shots.
