Okay, so yesterday as of course the city of DC is having lots of demonstrations and protests, we wanted to have some way to sort of show our kids what peaceful protest

looks like and civic participation you know but we we wanted to keep them safe

and find sort of a safe way for them to do this so

in DC everybody was going out at seven to like bang on pots and pans and sort of make

noise to show solidarity so we let our kids go out.

They bang it on their positive hands.

Our neighbors did too.

It was like this beautiful moment.

I felt like we were really teaching our kids

what like responsible civic engagement looks like. and then the two-year-old

grabbed the wooden spoon and tried to smash the window.

So you have peaceful protesters and criminal provocateurs right there.

How did she do with the window?

She gave it a hard whack, but the window stood firm. I am very, very relieved to report, despite her legitimate best efforts to smash that window.

Susan, it sounds like you need to enforce a curfew.

Yeah, this is before the Antifa people get to her,

after they teach her a thing or two, your windows are toast.

I just think you need to redirect her desire to smash

and get her to smash the patriarchy.
