Good morning, everyone. We are coming to you live from the National Shrine of the Divine Mercy here in Cold Stockbridge, Massachusetts.

And we are honored you are with us. This is an incredibly special day for several reasons. One, it's the last first Saturday of the year.

And if you haven't been doing your first Saturdays, this is the perfect

time to start. Today is the anniversary of Pearl Harbor coming from a military family. Or no,

wait, today's the sixth, isn't it? Today's the seventh? I'm all over the place, as you can tell.

This is what I get with no sleep. So December the 7th is the

anniversary of Pearl Harbor. Tomorrow, December the 8th, is normally, and it always is the feast day

of the Immaculate Conception, the most incredible gift of God's mercy, but it's been transferred to

December the 9th this year because it fell on a Sunday.

So we have a lot to talk about. We have a lot to go over and most of all a lot to pray about.

After this talk, I'll lead you through the first Saturday devotion. Our topic today is one of my

personal favorites. I just never have gotten a chance to do it. I am a fisherman. I grew up on

the Great Lakes. I'm a boater, a water skier, a swimmer, and this today is our lady star of the sea.

And if you say, well, father, I'm not really a water person. It doesn't matter.

You need this devotion, and we're going to tell you why.

So let us begin with a prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
