As we have told you, the word

Deuteronomy means the second law.

It is really a rehearsal, sort of a capsulization by Moses of the law that was given.

Deuteronomy itself, though it covers the 40 years from Egypt to the entering into the promised land,

covered only about 40 days as far as the time of it being given to the children of Israel.

Moses was now an aged man, however he was still very spry. He still had excellent eyesight, excellent hearing,
