Hello everybody and welcome along to the Agenda podcast which follows a huge win for

Liverpool in the San Sero last night as they defeated the reigning Italian champions

in Milan in their own backyard 2-0 in the Champions League last 16.

Though the scoreland suggests Liverpool cruise to victory it was in fact an heroic defensive

display for the Reds who were under the cost to be fair for large periods of the game.

But there was one specific star last night in Virgil Van Dyke.

And the question on this agenda podcast,

is Virgil Van Dyke back to his best.

Well, Joynerby Patrick Smith is the one and only Theo Squires. So Theo, is Véchalantike back to his prime self?

That's a hard question because before when he was back to his best or when he was at his best

He was doing it consistently wasn't he for like two three years. He was the very best to send it back in world football

And I'd say he needs to do it a bit more consistently at that

level for the rest of the season and take Liverpool to trophies so if we're

talking in May and Liverpool one Champions League or they've somehow managed to claw back the gap in the

Premier League and manage to overtake City and win the title.

Then you say yeah defensively that is very much because Virgil Van Dyke is back to his best.

There are signs now there he is showing his form again that he is getting up to that level,

but there have been some of a bit shaky defensively in recent weeks and they've had to have called

Paul Allison to bail them out time and time again.
