Hello, this is the agenda. I'm Christine Molshin with me is Joel Rebinovitz. We are here less than 12 hours after Liverpool

nailed the European Super Cup, the UEFA Super Cup in Istanbul. In Istanbul he won

if four times. It's the fourth Super Cup Joel. And we've just been saying

before the camera started rolling how how nice it felt to win. You know all of

this all of this talk about is it a friendly is not a friendly it just felt so nice to win

and the celebrations afterwards say to me at least that it's a trophy that

Liverpool daily covers us. Yeah it felt big I think Clop said it afterwards in his post-match comments that like he

was surprised how kind of happy he felt and he has to ask Henderson and Milner kind of

how big a trophy is it and they said well it's on the board at Melwood so it does matter and yeah I really

wanted us to win this one I think it's easy to say in hindsight because we lost

the community shield on penalties but I was saying before this one like you have to win the

Champions League to get there and so it is definitely one worth winning and I

think there's been a little bit of this kind of undercurrent of anxiety and

negativity I think because you know you lost the community

shield and penalties and the Norwich game obviously the result was great but

there was some some cracks in a performance there and that continued against

Chelsea so to kind of go through the slog of 120 minutes in Istanbul,

midweek with a big league game at the weekend.

To go through that and then lose on penalties again kind of would have been the worst case

scenario because you know

players are going to be tired you've gone through all that effort and then to kind
