Patriots fall on the road to the Miami Dolphins. Phil and I are going to get into it right now.

Topic one will be the Mack Jones injury, why it happened and the fallout this week.

Next up, was it really just a couple of plays keeping the Patriots from success on Sunday?

So Bill Belichick makes it sound.

And then finally, the Kendrick-Born situation.

Now, the Patriots good enough to keep a good player on the bench because they're, well,

just not happy with how things are going,

even though he's a productive guy. Phil, you're down there. Tell us everything about Mac.

Tom, I saw Mack Jones leave the Patriots locker room with a contingent of Patriots staffers

between security and medical personnel about 40, 50 yards or so down to the x-ray room here in the bowels of

Hard Rock Stadium.

He was in there for several minutes, came back, walked back.

I would say noticeably uncomfortable.

And we end up getting word from Patriots PR that he's dealing with a back injury and that he will not be speaking with us today after the game, which is unusual.

But because the quarterback is the quarterback and because the quarterback always speaks, it made sense for them to make that announcement.

Tom, it tells me that it's an injury significant enough that it would make him probably pretty uncomfortable just standing there at the podium and answering questions.

He did look that out of sorts, I would say, on the walk back from the x-ray room that it doesn't surprise me that they didn't want him standing there for several minutes talking to us.
