Yeah, happy to join you.

So we're talking about Chee and really his life and his death.

And I was wondering if we could start off by getting a brief overview of Chez childhood and his upbringing in Argentina.

Yeah, I mean he's born in 1928, grows up in a fairly well-to-do family by many accounts,

grows up in a family surrounded by books, culture, education.

And really it's my sense that it's in his university years where he begins to you know famously

He takes a year off at one point for university. He's studying to become a physician

But takes a year off to ride around a good portion of South America

on a motorcycle, which later became a movie.

But it's that experience that I think opens his eyes to a lot of social injustices that were present in Latin

America at the time and echoes of which are still there today and so whatever
