So can you give our listeners a brief overview of your book?

Sure.

So it's called What Would the Spice Girls Do? The question that's been on everybody's

lips for decades. And the subtitle is How the Girl Power Generation Grew Up, which I think sums it up. So it's partly a nostalgia trip.

There's a load of stuff in there about, you know, being a kid in the 90s and what that was like,

all the sort of paraphernalia that went with it. But it is also, I suppose, an examination

of the impact that the Spice Girls had on a generation of young girls and the sort of line, I guess,

that we can draw from that to the women that we have

grown up to be in the modern world.

So a major part of the Spice Girls appeal was the Girl Power mantra.
