We are prepared now to bring you the aftermath.

The aftermath is of a 27 to 14 win for the Patriots over the more abundant New York Jets.

Patriots improving to 9 and 2, 8th win in a row.

They're averaging 29 points a game during this eight-game winning streak.

Phil, it's eye-popping, and I say to you that these are the good old days.

This will be the first time that these Patriots get to, and only time, get to enjoy this

kind of sneaking up on everybody, exceeding expectations, the enthusiasm of guys you just met that you're

fighting next to every week. And you, I love these guys. Everything is new and shiny for this

iteration of the New England Patriots. And then they go out and they do exactly what their coach hoped they would

and expected them too because they have set such a standard for week in,

week out behavior of being disciplined, answering the bell.

And on a short week, Mike Vrable, was giddy about an organization-wide performance.

He said when he can't, and Phil, you'll get to talk, believe me.

But Mike Vrable said that he wanted to protect the team at all costs and players who put

the team first.

Well, this organization right now, and he said that
