Angel is an assistant professor of public policy and the environment at UNC Chapel Hill.

She's also founder and director of the Data Driven Inviral Lab, an interdisciplinary research group that

innovates and applies quantitative approaches to pressing environmental issues.

So could you start off by telling our listeners about Inviral Lab and how your research is used?

Yeah, so I founded my research group, The Data Driven Inviral Lab in 2015, to meet the charge that environmental policy for a long time has relied on educated guesses and hunches, but not on hard facts.
