an examination of life after death by an out-of-body explorer.

Cyrus Kirkpatrick is an author who explores spiritualism, consciousness survival and afterlife

research. He founded the afterlife topics and metaphysics communities

and has appeared as a speaker for the Afterlife Research Education Institute.

Cyrus, thank you very much for coming onto the podcast. It's really kind of you to give us your time.

Thank you, Simon. Found your book really interesting. I like the, where you come at this afterlife subject, because it's a different kind of angle than I've read before.

And this is your second book on the afterlife.

So could you give us an overview of what you're exploring this new book, Afterlife and Beyond?

Well, the Afterlife and Beyond is it is a follow-up, but it's also a stand-alone book,

so you don't have to read the first book to get what's going on.

Basically, I have been researching the afterlife, probably about, gosh, since I was an

adolescent almost, and now I'm 31 years old, so I can kind of do the math there.

It's like maybe almost 20 years.

The afterlife and beyond, I wanted to compile more stories about my experiences as an out-of-body

explorer or astral projection practitioner. And in addition, I have added a lot of ideas and stories and content from my

group on Facebook, where many people have shared their experiences. And I also combine that with
