When we left off last episode, Aaron Corwin had settled into life on the Marine Base

in 29 palms, California.

In the fall of 2013, she and her husband John had befriended their neighbors, the malachies

and the leaves, and the three couples had become very close, spending most of their time together.

But by the next spring, the relationships between the trio would be changed forever, and

by June, Aaron would be dead.

Back in the fall of 2013, it was hard to imagine that things would end so badly.

Aaron and John were finally living together as a married couple.

They were excited to take on the next phase of life.

But as they got comfortable in 29 palms, it was clear that the young couple had much to
