Summary

0:45.6	came to them with a chilling mystery. The previous evening, Mortimer had played cards with his two brothers and sister at their family home, Tridannock Wother. When he returned the next day,

0:55.0	His sister was dead, her face contorted in sheer terror,
0:59.0	and his two brothers had seemingly gone mad from fright.
1:04.0	Holmes and Watson headed to Trudanick Wother to investigate.
1:08.0	Everything was exactly as it had been left. The cards were still on the table,
1:12.8	the candles had burned down to the stump, and there was no sign of an intruder. Their elderly
1:18.6	housekeeper, Mrs. Porter, hadn't heard any sign of struggle, and was so terrified by the discovery
1:24.6	that she was leaving her position that very day.
1:28.3	While Holmes searched for clues, Mortimer revealed that just before he left, his brother, George, had stared intently at the window behind him.
1:38.3	When Mortimer turned around to see what he was looking at, he thought he saw some movement in the bushes. Holmes examined
