Lestrade regarding a peculiar case. A Miss Susan Cushing of Croydon had recently received a macabre package in the mail,

Holmes and Watson travelled to Croydon to examine the gruesome delivery.

Initially, the police believed it was a cruel prank by medical student former lodgers with a grudge against Miss Cushing.
