0:50.9	In response, Holmes turned to drastic measures. He assumed the pseudonym Escott, disguised himself as a plumber, and courted Milverton's housemaid. From her, he learned the layout of the blackmailer's fortress-like home in Hampstead. Holmes then devised a plan to break into Milverton's house and retrieve the letters.
1:12.6	Though initially reluctant, Watson insisted on joining Holmes, knowing that if caught, the pair risked being sent to prison.
1:20.6	We left our heroes as they approached Milverton's home, Appledore Towers, under the cover of darkness.
1:37.8	Now they are about to don black burglar's masks and execute two of the most truculent figures in London, we stole up to the silent gloomy house.
