That was before I learned of a girl living in my teenage bedroom and the faceless woman who would come to her in the night.

And before I met Sonia and heard about her shaking bed and whatever her sister experienced,

which was so traumatic she can't talk about it all these years later.

And now I find myself thinking, maybe people who spend their days hunting ghosts are exactly the people we need to talk to.
