0:44.5	She was sick at home with the flu, so my dad drove to the hospital alone to pick me up.
0:50.2	When he brought me home and even before handing me to my mom,
0:55.0	he placed me under the Christmas tree for a few moments.
0:58.6	So they could both celebrate what they say is the greatest gift they have ever received.
1:06.0	This is a story they told me repeatedly when I was growing up.
1:10.0	It was a beautiful way to share with me that I was adopted.
1:13.6	And as a child, I loved that story.
1:17.0	There was never a doubt that I was wanted.
1:20.0	I still love that story today.
1:22.6	I'm now 61 years old and throughout my life I've often been asked.
1:26.6	Have you ever wanted to look for your birth mother?
