Dolphins in rapid succession very quickly blew up the rest of my day

with the announcing of the departures of Bradley Chub

and Tyree Kill and James Daniels and Nick Westbrook-Akeke.

The Dolphins formally announced three of those four cuts yesterday at the end of the day.

Bradley Chubb's still pending probably means he's going to end up being a post-June-first cut

when it is all set and done, which will save the Dolphins $20 million

in cap space after June 1st for the record before, like, we get to the offseason blueprint

stuff here in the next couple of weeks. I think that is the right move because that allows you to

sign your entire rookie draft class that allows you to have flexibility for if you have injuries throughout the course of the season and that is your accommodations for your practice squad throughout the course of the year that could be your operating budget for signing your rookies in the entirety of the season all of that can happen with a post-tune first bradley chub and the savings you would get in the summertime. So I think that's probably the right call.

It's what I would do if I were in their shoes.

But this is not a show today that's about salary cap management or players getting cut
