Hey everyone, welcome to Steel Wars. I am Steel Saunders and I do love Star Wars and I am driving on Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, California, fresh out of a preview screening of the Acolyte.

And I will not drop any spoilers because everyone doesn't get to see it until tomorrow,

but I will say as someone that is pretty fussy about Star Wars, Andor was all time,

Asoka dropped the ball in the last episode, Third season of Mandalorian, not for me.

But this, massive thumbs up. Massive thumbs up. It is so refreshing to be in a new time period and not be inundated with references and

Easter eggs and all that. And just get into some just random new Star Wars story. And yeah,

I just had a ball. We saw the first two episodes I love all

the characters there's there's one device that has a few too many abilities

that it was pretty much my one nitpick of the whole thing.

It was beautiful to watch, lots of color, lots of aliens,

cool, you know, little sort of Star Warsy creatures that sort of add to the thickness of the galaxy.

And what else without spoiling anything?

I just thought it was really, really well done.

And I am exceptional, I'd like to think, at finding little things.

And apart from the thing I alluded to before, which I'll go into more, you know, after you guys have all seen it, it was, it was perfect, like, for my take.

It was just, you know, fresh new story. And, oh, it did not drag for a second. It didn't get bogged down in setting up things that we should know or anything like that, which is pretty ironic considering it's, um, you know, it's

following up from the High Republic book series. But, you know, with Asoka, you know,

the first episode or two, I thought it was just a bit burdened by all the filling in of backstory.

This didn't have it and it was, yeah, man, it was quite thrilled.

Really, really well done.

Hoping for continued success but uh we'll be back on um after it's
