Our text has been here in John 10, verse 10.

John 10, 10.

It says, in verse 10, it says, the thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill and to destroy.

Now, you could take time and go into a lot of detail about that.

First of all, we said and i'll review

just a little bit for the benefit of those that have not been with us previously this week

uh the thief cometh he cometh not but for to steal and to kill and destroy that's when he comes

that's that's what he comes for but he does come. We're not to try to pretend that the devil's dead

and that, you know, if you live by faith, you'll never have any problems or test or trials.

Well, no, the devil's around. He comes, and he comes to steal, and he comes to kill, and he comes to

destroy. But I'm glad about the scripture that said said we have an adversary, the devil, like a roaring

line, he's going about seeking whom he may, may devour.

That lets us know there's some he may devour and there's some he may not devour.

Amen.

And it's up to you which category you're in.

I've made up my mind.

I'm in the may not category.

Amen.

It's a decision you have to make.

And you have to resist him when he comes.

And the Bible said, if you resist him, he'll flee from you.

Resist is the opposite of yielding to.
