Looking at John

Chapter 10

and we're looking at the 10th verse.

Probably many of you can quote this verse

but it's still true.

Isn't that right?

Even though you can quote it, it's still true.

And sometimes we have to watch about the ones we're real familiar with

because we get to thinking we know what they say and in actuality miss a lot of things that they say. Every time you read

a verse or hear a verse, especially if it's a familiar one, always remind yourself, there are things

in that verse I have never seen or heard. How about that's true. Always true.

No one has ever exhausted all the light and revelation from any one verse of

scripture, have they?

Because the word is like God himself.

I mean, you know, can you exhaust all that God knows?

All that He doesn't know.

Even though you may get a lot of light from a verse of scripture, there's still more light there.

There's things you haven't seen, things you haven't heard.

So you've got to stir yourself up, especially on familiar verses of scripture, like Mark 1123 and 24,

Hebrews 111, Philippians 419, and different verses that you may be familiar with.

There are things in those verses you have never seen and never heard.

But if you don't look at them and look for those things, then you won't see them.
