Welcome to the Feminine podcast. This is Nancy Wilson and thanks for joining me today. The topic today is the abundance of the heart that Jesus refers to in the Gospels. In Matthew 1234, Jesus said, brood of vipers, how can you being evil speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart,

the mouth speaks. Okay, that's interesting because he's saying that these, this brood of

vipers, these bad guys, they can't speak good things because they're evil. And in Luke 645, he says, a good man

out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good. And an evil man out of the evil

treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. This is a really clear picture.

We all, every one of us, has a storehouse full of treasure. Where is this storehouse? It's in our

heart. It's tucked away in there. Some of us have good treasure stored there and some have evil treasure.

But it's clear that we all, each one of us, has stuff in there. Things we value very much.

Now, if we think about our garage or storage shed that it's collected stuff for years, we have a picture of what our hearts are like.

Do we have boxes crammed with useless stuff and junk? Or are we storing good things of value, purpose, and importance? What are you

storing there? What am I storing there? When a good man opens his mouth, he goes into his heart where he has a large stash of good things,
