the days that have meaning, like Memorial Day, like the 4th of July.

To add to the glittering gold in the Oval Office and the ripped up Rose Garden, to make no mention of the East Wing, which is just now a

hole in the ground.

But it's more than the arches and the damage done to the physical infrastructure.

What Trump has done is worse. He has assaulted, degraded our spirit,

our values, our ideas, our ideals. And there was nothing that this man who has repeatedly

insulted America's war dead, who has insulted America's prisoners of war,

who called those that Lincoln said gave blastful measure of devotion, suckers, and losers,

there was nothing that he could ever have done on Memorial Day to make up for what he has already

done when it comes to giving grievous insult to the highest concepts of duty, of honor,

of love, of sacrifice that this very special day in America should be set aside to
