Summary

On July 24th, 2012, Violet Ripken was abducted at gunpoint.

That morning, 74-year-old Violet had set off on her morning routine, and was abducted from her own home by a masked gunman. For the next 23 hours, this mysterious kidnapper would proceed to drive around the Baltimore region, with Violet bound and blindfolded in the back seat.

Nobody would notice Violet's absence until later that evening, when a pair of eyewitnesses reported a strange incident to police. Soon, a massive search effort to find Violet was launched, with police hoping to locate the mother of baseball's most distinguished star...
