So this poll is getting some attention.

It's interesting.

I think it speaks more to the way we take in information than anything else.

In that we get information from different places.

The information is different.

And so we have different views.

We're not all coming at stories from a shared set of facts.

That's a real problem for how a democracy is going to work.

But here's a good example of it.

So Gallup Ask People should healthy people live their normal lives as much as possible.

For, of course, only 44% of respondents said that healthy people should still stay at

home as much as possible to avoid contracting and spreading the coronavirus at this point.

44% overall in America.

And I wish it wasn't that high.

But if you break it down by party, 71% of Democrats still believe that Americans ought

to stay home.

Why in the world would I do that?

I don't know.

To avoid what?
