she quotes this guy who was one of the most respected guys in publishing until he retired

I think last year he was staunchly committed to freedom of expression and staunchly against

censorship he was with McMillan for a long time.

It's happening on both sides, he said recently, it's just a different mechanism meaning

the left and the right.

On the right it's going through institutions and school boards.

You know I would depart from the text here and point out okay so conservatives are saying,

excuse me I have a problem with this book for these specific reasons and I think we need

to talk about it being taught in class.

Okay you can call that book banning from the right but I think when suddenly and without

discussion progressives in our school districts introduce highly sexualized queer theory to

our kids I don't think saying whoa whoa whoa that's not right is banning books but anyway

but then he says on the left it's using social media as a tool of activism it's aggressively

protesting to increase the pain threshold until their censorship going the other way.
