In a conversation with some people, there was a high level university person there talking

about something came up around somebody applying for a job and how their pronouns were

something or other.

And I said, because that still strikes me as unique, because I'm not used to it.

I don't live in a world where I come across that a lot.

And I said, put their pronouns in their cover letter, okay?

And the person said, doesn't everybody?

And I said, boy, I don't think everybody does.

I don't see cover letters because I'm not in a hiring position, but my sense is that

in the probably unfair to call it real world versus the university world, but in the private

sector.

Oh, go ahead.

It's not everybody.

In fact, it's very few people.

And so pretty surprising to the university crowd that it's not omnipresent out here in

the private world.

So I threw it out there.

If you're in a hiring position, anywhere out there, pronouns in a cover letter or application

email or anything like that, that help her.
