The Getty's Burgadress and Abraham Lincoln bust were removed from the Cornell Library

after Accomplaint. A bust of President Abraham Lincoln and a plaque of the Getty's Burgadress

have been removed from a Cornell University library. Someone complained it was gone, says the

biology professor there. The bust of Lincoln and the bronze plaque of the president's

historic 1863 address, which I believe is considered like maybe the greatest thing ever

written by an American in our history.

I saw me, yeah. The display was missing a few weeks ago. Of course, they don't announce

these sorts of things usually. He asked the librarians, what happened to the whole Lincoln

bust and Getty's Burgadress thing? Told the display was removed after a complaint, but

was not provided further details. The communications team for Cornell, Cornell, then had to answer

questions saying the display was a temporary exhibit and was now over. So there you go.

Yeah, that sounds like bull crap to me. Sure. You get a single complaint and the man

hailed as the greatest US president by liberal historians, conservative historians, and

the rest of the historians and perhaps the greatest speech ever written or certainly in

that pantheon of the all time great, you remove that. That's that is mental illness.

They quote a particular professor said when I take my students there each semester, I

have one of them read the original in Lincoln's hand. They have one of the five original

handwritten Lincoln copies there at Cornell, right? But they're no longer going to have

a bust of your hand, a hand Lincoln or the plaque commemorating the address. So they have
