The A10 is back.

We are back.

Now, to be fair, 810 pilots would say we never went anywhere.

And that is true.

But we do have some big news when it comes to A10 because the Secretary of War, the Secretary

of the Air Force, they have said that the A10 is not going anywhere until 2030, which is

quite different.

While the A10 has been planned to be divested numerous times over the years, I think it really was staring down its final days as numerous squadrons have been deactivated.

I just had General Sebrin, who is in charge of the Ogden Air Logistic Complex out at Hill Air Force Base.

And he even mentions there they had the final ceremony for the A-10 Depot, the level maintenance that occurs for the A10. That's shut down in February. So the A10 was on its way out the door. Now, Congress did do a little bit of a glove save saying that the Air Force can't divest the A10 in 2026. We'll dive into all that here in a minute. We're also going to take a look at Iran because

why not? And who knows what's going on with Iran? It's anyone's guess. It'll be a fun experiment,

depending on when you watch or listen to this, to see if I predicted the future or where we are.

Because I think the next 24 hours, we're going to see which fork in the road we hit or if things get continued out just a little bit

longer but it does not seem like there's a lot of progress depending on who you're listening to

so we'll look at all that as well now the a 10 let's dive into this piece the 810 has been on

the chopping block really since desert storm we didn't think we'd ever use it again and it always

comes back up

because I think everyone is in agreeance. There is no other platform out there that can do

close to air support as well as the A10. And now if we look at the corporate knowledge that has been

built inside the A10 community, it is irreplaceable. And I, for the purpose of this video,

am just going to completely gloss over the
