Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld, welcoming you to another edition of Robeservations.

Robeservations, where we look at the world of comic books and the movies, the streaming, the TV,

the cartoons, the anime, all of that that has sprung from or has somehow find their way

into the pages of comic books

from comics into comics it doesn't matter we've all consumed it consuming it in the middle of

consuming it uh and and i look at it through the lens of uh my entire life absorbing and as

i've often told you guys consuming this got a great show for you today

one that is long overdue from my estimation but the first thing that I want to get to is a great

encounter I had last week at the New York Comic Con I was unfortunate to be part of this amazing

four-day event that I mentioned to you in recent podcasts.

The biggest show in North America in the last two years, over 160,000 people over four days.

Tons of great enthusiasm.

Everybody was taking all the safety precaution measures that you could possibly imagine.

You had to have a vaccine to get in.

That's not political coming from me. Those are the rules

that were established in order to attend having been vaccinated. It was not a problem for me. And clearly

it wasn't a problem for the 160,000 people that came through the doors over those four days. And the

vendors, everybody. And also everybody had to wear masks. I think that was the one thing that maybe was probably going to be the biggest hill for me to climb because I just,

I don't like masks and I don't wear them a ton here in Orange County, California. A lot of stuff

is outdoors and I'm in my house all day long, but the mask stuff wasn't a big problem. I mean,

we wore it on the train

to Connecticut to visit our son. We wore it in restaurants when we needed to. We wore it in the
