Every month on our Food Stories episode,

we recount, break down, and discuss

our favorite, the biggest, the most important food stories from the previous month, this month, of course, being June.

We go through them as quick as we can and then separate them with a little ding like this.

Up first, this is a huge story about Ken Friedman,

who is one of New York's biggest restaurant tours

and with his chef partner April Bloomfield created the Spotted Pig, the Breslin, and a couple

other of New York's most famous iconic restaurants. Amanda, what happened?

So back in December, a big story came out in the New York Times

accusing Ken Friedman of sexual harassment.

Multiple women at the spotted pig alleged that he groped them, he kissed them against their will,

all these other terrible things.

He had a kind of weak apology and then that's the last we heard from him.

Did he have a weak apology?

He had an apology that basically said, I apologize for my actions

but without really going into it and being like slightly defensive,

like saying he said some incidents were not as described but

context and content are not today's discussion I apologize now

publicly for my actions. Anyway, so that happened.
