| 0:27.9 | All right, so you're doing keto. |
| 0:31.4 | You think you're doing it correctly, but it's maybe not working. |
| 0:33.0 | How do we make it work better? |
| 0:38.8 | I've done a lot of videos on this, but number one, the most important thing is to make sure your carbs are low. |
| 0:41.0 | And I'm talking below about 10 grams per day, not per meal, but per day. |
| 0:47.4 | So whatever your carbs are, bring them on the low side. |

| 0:51.3 | All right. |
| 0:52.3 | Number two, you may not be fasting long enough. |
| 0:54.6 | So if you're on two meals a day, you might need to go to one meal a day. |
| 0:58.1 | If you're on one meal a day, you may want to consider doing a longer fast. |
| 1:02.9 | So potentially, you need to eat once every other day. |
| 1:07.3 | But for some people with a very slow metabolism, that's what they need to do. |
| 1:11.6 | Also the question they ask is this, when you eat, are you really hungry? |
| 1:15.6 | Because if you're not hungry, keep fasting until you are hungry. |
| 1:19.6 | And I've had people go, you know, several days of fasting because they just weren't hungry. |
| 1:25.6 | And that's totally fine. Just make sure you take |
| 1:28.0 | your electrolytes and your B vitamins if you're fasting. All right. So lowering carbs and decreasing |
| 1:33.7 | the frequency of your meals will get you into ketosis and it will help reduce inflammation. |
| 1:40.1 | If you have a lot of inflammation in your body, that's going to kill ketosis right off the bat. |
