Welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

The Gospel of today is from Luke chapter 10.

The Lord appointed 72 others and sent them out ahead of him in pairs.

To all the towns and places he himself was to visit, he said to them,

The harvest is rich, but the laborers are few.

So ask the Lord of the harvest to send laborers to his harvest.

It was not just the apostles who were given the mission and responsibility to bring Jesus to others.

Jesus sends out 72 disciples to indicate that all the disciples of Jesus have the same mission, the same

gifts, the same divine mandate to go and make disciples. When we received the sacrament of confirmation, we too were

given the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit, an official mandate by the Bishop, the successor of the

official mandate by the Bishop, the successor of the Apostles,

to go and make disciples.

This is the most important responsibility of our lives.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallow it be your name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us the stay our daily breath and forgive us such

trespasses.

As we free of those who trespass against us,

that lead us not into temptation but put the grace for evil
