Well, listen, I want to read a scripture today found in the book of Acts chapter number 27 beginning at verse 9.

I'm going to be reading from the new King James rendering today.

Acts 27, verse 9 says, now when much time had been spent and sailing was now dangerous because the fast was already over, Paul advised them saying,

men, I perceive that this voyage will end with disaster and much

loss, not only of the cargo, but also of our lives. Nevertheless, the centurion was more

persuaded by the helmsman and the owner of the ship than by the things spoken by Paul. I want to stop right there, and I want to talk from this subject.

are a number of words that can be used to describe and to depict what i believe the scriptures

teach that god wants to do in and through our lives.

Before the purpose of today's preaching presentation, I want to lift up an adjective that I think is extremely important and yet often overlooked. Here it is, what God wants to do in, through, and for our lives is strange.

The word strange means unusual, unfamiliar, hard to understand, not previously seen before. it is a picture of a principle i call the principle

of exception and this principle simply suggests what happens with them does not dictate and

determine what happens with me.

That, that, that, that, that, that, that previous patterns with other people is not an accurate indication of a future possibility for me.

Just because it hasn't happened for most.
