And I have with me Rob Sheffield and Brittany Spanos and John Dole and we're going to talk about Rolling Stones new 500

greatest songs of all time list. Perhaps you've heard we have this list.

There's been a bit of controversy. We're going to address that

controversy. We're not afraid of the controversy. We're going to dive right in.

We're going to wait in that controversy. And first of all, let's hear Carson

Delhi. Carson Delhi was mad. Let's see what Carson Daley had to say about this list.

No Led Zeppelin, no Elvis, no clue in the top 100.

Yeah, I mean, whatever man. I don't know what to say about that except first of all, Ledz Up one is in the top 100.

Stairway to Heaven is around number 61. Good song. There was no no stairway rule in this list. We had stairway. I don't know. I think people are acting like the entire list is just like

Tik-Tok songs from last week, which I think there's a freak out on that side and then there's you know there's also people who are missing a bunch of more recent stuff.

You know it's can't make everyone happy the goal of the list was not to make anyone happy and just

throwing out everything at once we should mention also that the list again

Rob and I were trying to impress this upon people on Twitter.

The list is done by a vote.

There's a huge voting panel.

We tabulate the votes and put it out there.

It's not like some hallowed authority.

One person at Rolling Stone decided on this.

I think people have a lot of misconceptions,

but I'm glad that people are talking about this.
