Summary

We have all experienced loss at one point or another. Maybe it is the passing of a loved one, our dream job, our partner breaking up with us, or maybe even moving away far from the place we have lived for years. No matter what, many end up grieving. But that’s not all. In addition to going through the sadness, there is also the impact it has on your health and well-being. Think about it for a moment. How do you feel when you are sad and down? Do you feel healthy and energetic or down and tired? Staying in grief for too long, (and I am not trying to say you should not grieve. This week, I’m interviewing Christina Rasmussen, author of the book Second Firsts and founder of Life Reentry Institute. Christina had the devastating experience of losing her husband to cancer at the age of 36. Her life changed from one moment to the other with the passing of her perter. The years following, she found herself in the waiting room, getting ready to start new and embrace her new life.
