Hey, everybody. Welcome to the Roto Wire Fantasy Baseball podcast, Jeff Erickson, and Fred Zinke here for the next hour or so as we have a fun idea for you today.

We're calling this the 300 Club, where we're going to be drafting a full roster 23 man roster no reserves don't but

all players drafted over pick 300 reserves to be kind of insane so we won't do that we're not

that insane but before we do that fred hey as you alluded to right when we were talking beforehand

lots of news lots of big news. That's our fantasy draft.

Yeah, absolutely.

You can tell that, you know,

pitchers and catchers are going to report any day because teams are making those,

you know, last, you know, one or two, one year deals to kind of shore up holes in advance

of starting spring training and players. You can tell that they

really want to find a home because I think some players that maybe we're holding out for two or

three year deals are settling for that one year. And we're seeing for a lot of them maybe like 10 to

15 million. We're seeing a lot of players signed for that that are going to be regulars this year.

Indeed. And the other thing we're seeing are everybody's intake into spring

training where they're getting that that cursory exam that ends up being not so cursory for some

players, unfortunately. And the report to spring training injury report is firing up right now.

Unfortunately, a big one, a first round player, Francisco Lindor has a broken hamlet bone.

If he needs surgery, and that hasn't been determined yet, he could miss up to six weeks. Fred, we've seen before with Hammett bones, it's been as little as like a three-week recovery sometimes. And sometimes, like Joey Gallo is a three-month recovery. It can be pretty huge. It can. And I know what everyone who's listening is thinking is where would you put Lindor on your draft list? So I'm going to tell you mine first. And you can tell me what you think of

this. So I thought about it. And we don't know if he's going to have surgery or not. We don't know

if he's going to miss opening day or not. but I think you have to dock him based on this.

I moved him right behind Trey Turner.

So that puts him for me as kind of like a late second round pick instead of an early second
